I give no stars!!!! My family & I love breakfast & trying new places. Saw this place, read the reviews so we decided to try it out! Once we sat down, we were told "hope you aren't expecting a fast service bc you will not get it here today." We all looked at each other, saw that there were 2 other tables, a 2 top & a 4 top. (We were a 3 top) Said, "no, were okay!" We saw he was alone. No one to cook, no one at register. We had no where else to go, so how bad could it be? We were there for 2 hours. Mind you, we were served in those 2 hours however, my food came out ice cold. All of our toast was hard, as if it was toasted before the meal was cooked. My husband's omelet was burnt. My kids omelet was kind of burnt. (A customer from the 2 top, actually got up, grabbed the coffee pot and went around to all 3 tables and asked if we wanted coffee!?!? Thinking a regular, we all laughed, joked, shrugged it off.) When I said my food was ice cold (SOS, is what I ordered bc they had no Sausage gravy) my husband went up and told him. He said he was sorry & said he'd make a fresh one. Only to hear the microwave buttons & door close. My food came back out within seconds steaming. (Even my kid asked me, "did he just throw that in the microwave?") I couldn't even eat it. It tasted like food that was made in a pan before my food was made. I know SOS is salty but it was salty & tasted like burnt veggies. (My husband orders an omlet w/peppers & mushrooms. I hate peppers & mushrooms!) Once we were done, my husband went to pay the bill, he asked "hey, had a couple call offs?!?!" His response was "no, it's normally just me, by myself." His grill went down & was working off of a stove. I watched this person turn down a walk-in to-go bc he couldn't handle it. Another person came in before we even got our food. He sat there with no coffee or drink until we were served....It was thee worst place I have ever eaten at and I do not recommend this place. I do not understand those other reviews! (Maybe he had help then but doesn't now.) I will never go back. Waste of time & money. I questioned actually writing a review bc I was so disgusted. However, someone needs to know & this establishment needs a wake up call!!!! BTW, yes we paid the full bill, not asking for a discount or wanting any meals to be removed...plus my husband paid a 15% tip out of sorrow.
Was there for lunch today with my family n Earl was so nice,such a had worker.We had cheeseburgers n fries ,chicken tenders n fries, cheese steak n fries n berry smoothies, all fresh n served nice n hot.The service, food n place was great. Also great prices. Definitely going back ,it's our new monthly lunch place now.
First time there and their food and service is amazing and prices are great!! I have to say Earl is an amazing cook and host
