2 weeks agoThe BEST authentic Hawaiian restaurant in town... Even though it's the only one, IT'S THE BEST ONE!! The food is seriously unique and amazing, but that's only part of it- you have to step inside the atmosphere and actually experience it for yourselves. True island vibes nestled right in the heart of North Idaho! The staff are all so welcoming and inviting that you leave feeling like family. If you're ever in Sandpoint you must stop here!🌺

3 months agoThis place was one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. It wasn’t because of the portions or menu (which were spot on), but rather the great atmosphere and laid-back vibe. The food transported me straight back to the Big Island. The owner and staff were a fantastic group—very attentive and friendly. The menu was small, but that’s a positive in my book. My wife’s special, the long crock, was a huge hit. The Spam musubi and crab cakes were perfectly paired with the sauces. I’m already looking forward to my next visit to this amazing place and savoring more of their incredibly delicious food. You won’t be disappointed—check it out!

3 months agoI cant even explain how amazing the food and service is in this hidden little gem. I could go on for days about the kalua pork on Wednesdays and their signature "sunshine sauce" is good enough to drink. Amazing food and even more amazing staff. Incredible pricing for the quality and taste in this little slice of paradise. 11/10 cant wait to go back and try something new.

4 months agoWe love the Bridge shopping mall, very clean, very clean bathrooms, and all the shops have extremely kind, helpful staff. The toy shop is one of my grandkids favorites of course, we almost always buy something unique and fun at this store. Sunshine on Cedar is a lovely place to eat, get a cup of coffee, and the staff is so helpful!

Edited 3 months agoMost awesome little restaurant in sandpoint. Delicious food, fun atmosphere, amazing service, the best owners. I've never felt so welcome and at home going out to eat. I would definitely recommend for any occasion from office party, business lunch/dinner, casual meal, quick lunch, family, friends, and even a sweet bar when you just need a beer.

8 months agoSunshine on Cedar is incredible! It’s the only Hawaiian-themed restaurant and bar in the area, and they absolutely nailed it. The atmosphere is fun and relaxing with a beautiful view overlooking Sand Creek. The owner and staff are amazing — super friendly and welcoming. The food is excellent, the beer is cold, and the overall vibe is perfect. Easily one of the best spots in town!

9 months agoI dont know a lot about Hawaiian food, but this was very tasty. Really friendly and wonderful staff too. Also the view and atmosphere are the cherry on top. I'll be back.
