2 months agoI decided to give this a try after seeing the reviews and wanting to try a new lunch location - it did not disappoint! I ordered the spicy kimchi pork and a salmon roll. The pork is very very good. The service was quick and the employees are very nice. I will absolutely be coming back here for lunch.

3 months agoI love this restaurant! The sushi and rolls are fresh, and the udon is hearty and comforting. The staff made me feel very welcome, and the dining area was clean and cozy. I really enjoyed both the taste and the atmosphere. I will definitely visit this place again!

3 months agoI've been coming here for the last 18 years because this random innocuous food court sushi place that's basically just named "Sushi" consistently punches way above its weight. Solid sushi selection (I'm partial to the salmon combo, the inari, and the sashimi) and a great mix of Japanese and Korean fast food fare (the gyudon and spicy kimchi pork are phenomenal). The owner is the nicest guy in Pittsburgh and the prices are decent considering the quality.

3 months agoAuthentic Japanese lunch! The Bento box lunches are delicious. The staff is friendly and nice clean spaces to eat. Very quick service which is great for lunch. The teriyaki chicken was tasty and rice was perfect. The sushi was done perfectly and the gyoza was pretty good too. Definitely one of my go to downtown lunch spots now.

2 years agoI’m very rarely downtown at lunch time, but every time I am, I look forward to eating at this place. A friend introduced me to this restaurant years ago and I’m so glad they are still around. It’s counter service and they only take cash (and FYI, they don’t accept the juror discount vouchers other restaurants in this food court do). Service is brisk and professional. My food was ready in just a few minutes. I always get the kyu-don, and it is DELICIOUS every time. It’s a pretty generous portion of beef, egg, and rice. I like it with the oil added on top to give it a mild spice. I’ve been tempted to try some of the other things on the menu — they all sound good — but the kyu-don is so good I just can’t not have it. I’ll be looking forward to coming back the next time I’m downtown!

3 years agoMy 4th time eating lunch here. Always a pleasant experience. Fantastic rolls & super-friendly service. Will continue to make this my lunch spot when I have business in this part of the city. (Pictured: Spider Roll & Crazy Roll) Highly recommended! 😎👍🏻🍣🍱

3 years agoNice and fresh. Good for midday break from work. Easy in and out. Located in the Oxford Market (lower food court) of the One Oxford Centre building. No gluten free soy sauce. However, taste is still good. (Salmon avocado and cucumber rolls.)

3 years agoGreat Japanese food for weekday lunch in Pittsburgh. Got the oyakodon with spicy oil on top. Very good, will be back to try their sushi soon!
