Great place to adventure and see great views and has a great history
I came about this trail entrance a few years ago and finally was able to come back and walk a good 2 miles of the trek. I believe this entrance is a point off the Sussex Branch Trail coming from Andover to Newton and then connecting into Lafayette. If you're familiar with the Tiny House in Newton, the entrance point is right across street from there. There's trail parking up the road and it's an isolated area, so I would advise parking off or near trinity where there's more traffic and going from there. It is a small dirt path and it feels like it keeps going and going. I saw some wheat fields and horse along the way on a farm. Nice for an early morning walk, jog or bike.
