See All ReviewsSvizzero is truly a hidden gem here in Holland, America. From the moment you walk in you can feel the love and heart behind the restaurant. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and place to gather for not only a meal but also for connection and conversation. The owner is either cooking meals, serving meals, or out enjoying the company of the guests; his involvement in every aspect of the experience is what sets svizzero apart. The menu focuses on traditional Italian cuisine where every dish feels thoughtfully prepared. I ordered braised beef served over creamy potatoes with an original toasted bread, and it was incredibly. It doesn’t matter if it’s a Wednesday or a Saturday Svizzero’s is a place for food and fellowship with its own original twist. I cannot say it enough… We love this place!
Great little restaurant with high quality fresh ingredients and friendly people. Always something new to try. Creative salads, pizzas, pasta and appetizers. Something for everyone in the family! The old reliables don’t change, but the new features are worth trying!!! Fondue and Raclette( worth a google) are top notch (reservations for raclette)!!! The also have beer, wine and cokes in the bottle. You won’t be disappointed!!
First off... what in the world is this place doing in Holland??? Seriously- the food here is simply amazing and what you would expect in a (much) larger city (has anyone ever called Holland a city?) and with a line out the door or reservations needing to be made weeks in advance. Okay... enough of that... First off, I am not a fan of Alfredo sauce - it is simply usually very bland and waaaaay too thick... but that ain't true here -- I loved grabbing every bite off my wife's plate when she wasn't looking, and sopping up that wonderful flavor with the crust of my scrumptious pizza. I am already eagerly awaiting our next visit so I can have a pizza made with that sauce. Now, did I mention how good the pizza is? The pizza sauce is simply some of the best I've ever had (even though I will will be swapping next time for the Alfredo sauce... really tells ya how good that Alfredo is). The toppings were the perfect amount, and no skimping out on the cheese. The crust was so fresh... which brings me back to that Fettuccine with Alfredo Sauce and chicken... the fresh herbs and spices... just simply took that dish so far over the edge (I'm drooling while remembering it while writing this). Take the little trip to Holland for a delicious taste of Italy!
