See All ReviewsI came tonight and the lady over the phone was extremely nice and courteous. I ordered jerk chicken curry chicken rice and peas on both with side of Mac. Food was packed hot and fresh in 5 minutes. The food was delicious with , well portions. Will def be back and will try the oxtail. The cook was friendly too and waved to me from the back😁
I called an order in, my first time going there. The lady on the phone was friendly and easy to understand, asking me the appropriate questions on size and what sides I wanted. Food was very tasty and the portions were generous, enough for two meals. Got a large oxtail, with rice and peas, cabbage, and plantains. Got the same order but in a medium size. And got a medium jerk chicken (rice and peas, cabbage, plantain). Total was $67 but like I said, generous portions, enough for two meals. Tasty and flavorful, not overly spicy. Definitely adding it on to my rotation. I managed to grab a parking spot outside but the street is a little narrow, so I don’t recommend double parking. But because I called my order in beforehand , I was in and out of there in a minute.
I had the pleasure of working with Darnel, the owner of Sweet Spice, for our Associate Appreciation Day on 9/18/25, and the entire experience was fantastic from start to finish. From our very first communication, Darnel made the planning process seamless—whether it was coordinating arrival times, helping with food selection, or working within my budget, she exceeded every expectation. On the day of the event, the team arrived promptly and, to my surprise, went the extra mile by bringing a table with an umbrella and chairs to enhance our outdoor space. It was such a thoughtful touch that really elevated the experience. The food itself was absolutely delicious—flavorful, well-seasoned, and plentiful. Our staff especially enjoyed the jerk chicken, jerk pork, fried chicken, curry goat, rice and peas, white rice, and plantains. Everyone raved about the quality, and many mentioned how generous the portions were; some even said their lunch doubled as dinner! Overall, the planning and execution were flawless, and Darnel and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with. Several of my staff are already planning to visit Sweet Spice’s locations and have started following them on Instagram. I can’t recommend them enough for any event—you’ll get amazing service, thoughtful touches, and unforgettable food.
