Szechuan Empire North is my #1 pick for Chinese in the area. My whole family loves it too. Great business and people. The food is amazing every time. Generous portions and reasonably priced as well. They are the best. Highly recommend!
Best Chinese food in the area. No soggy fried meats. Get the orange beef.
My mother requested Chinese for her birthday, and this place looked like a good option. However, I was extremely disappointed. First, the lady at the counter had trouble finding my online order and she was somewhat condescending about it. Not a big deal...we figured it out and she adjusted her attitude. Then, when I got home, my mother and I discovered we were missing an order of eggrolls that we paid for. Again, it wasn't a big deal, but it was very disappointing. However, within a couple of hours my mother and I both had an explosive bowel movement within minutes of each other at a time when neither of us usually has one. We can't really say that the food caused it, but it certainly seemed likely. Between being treated with disrespect, not getting all of the food we paid for, and our birthday bathroom adventure, we've decided to avoid this restaurant in the future. It's unfortunate, but they'll remain in business, we'll find another Chinese restaurant, and life goes on. I thought it was worth the effort to share our experience with others.
