See All ReviewsI’ve been a regular customer at this location in the past, but after my experience today, I will not be returning. I stopped by intending to vacuum and power wash my car. I disposed of a large trash bag in the on-site trash can, then realized I only had a credit card and needed cash. My plan was to leave briefly, go to ShopRite to get cash, and come right back to use the services. Before I could do that, an employee began yelling at me, accusing me of doing something illegal and claiming I would be fined. I tried to explain what I was doing, but the situation escalated quickly and aggressively. The employee continued shouting and ultimately removed the trash bag from the trash can and threw it back into my car through the open window. Regardless of the size of the trash, this response was completely inappropriate, hostile, and unnecessary. If there is a policy about trash disposal, it could have been communicated calmly. Instead, the interaction was humiliating and upsetting. I’ve never experienced behavior like this at a business before, and it’s enough to ensure I won’t be returning. Update due to insane and inappropriate responses from business: Thank you for responding. I want to clarify a few points, as your description does not reflect my experience. I did dispose of a large trash bag, which I now understand you consider inappropriate, and if this violated your policy, that could have been communicated calmly. At the time, I only had a credit card. The only way for me to get cash was to go to ShopRite and use cash back, which I was attempting to explain before leaving briefly and returning to use the vacuum and car wash services. What was upsetting was not being informed of a policy, but how the situation was handled. The interaction involved raised voices, accusations of illegal behavior, and my trash being removed from the bin and placed back into my car through an open window. That response felt aggressive and unnecessary, regardless of the misunderstanding. My review reflects the manner in which the situation was handled, not a disagreement over whether a policy exists. Update 2. I would also like to point out that as a repeat customer I have multiple times over the past 3 years had my money eaten by your machines and not only never received a refund but was also handled like it was some how my fault. I think you have to seriously think about the way you conduct business and treat human beings. Do better.
Awful experience with a rude owner. Have been coming here for years with every car I’ve owned. No longer. It seemed like she was looking for an argument. They do not like people throwing out trash without using the vacuum or wash, understandable I guess. Even so, it’s a car wash with many trash cans and should be open to use for car wash customers without hassle. After throwing out garbage I got in my car to go for a wash and was approached and accosted because she did not think I was going to wash it. In return, after being accused of being a liar I decided to leave with a dirty car and to never again give my money to these people. She made it challenging to leave as well, standing by my car pressing on in her crusade with annoyance as I tried to back out. Ma’am I’m sorry but you’ve lost my business for good. You have the nerve to say happy Turkey day while in the same breath calling me a liar. 45 years of bad business practices, good riddance. I love to support family owned businesses but will be tap dancing when they put up the for sale signs. You can see the poor customer service represented in many of the reviews here that are similar to mine.
Friendly people, did a great job on the outside of car before we entered the car wash.
