This was my first time eating food from Trinidad and what an experience. I was lucky to be invited by friends who ordered and guided us through an array of different dishes and every one was amazing. So many different and unique flavors it was like a party for my pallet. I can’t wait to go back. I loved every aspect of the experience, the music vibe and friendly staff felt like I was eating at a friends home.
I hope everyone comes here. This place feels so much like my mother's kitchen. It feels like there's so much love and care taken in comparison of the food. The buss up shut is perfect. The doubles. Excellent texture the sauce. Everything delicious. I also had the goat which was falling off the bone. Delicious. The dahl oh my gosh the roasted garlic alone come through suburb. This place is a 10 out of 10. The pumpkin everything was so good. This will be the only place I eat whenever I come to pompano Beach again. I'm so glad I was influenced by the IG to come here.
Like many others in these reviews, I saw this restaurant on TikTok and while visiting Fort Lauderdale I figured I’d give it a try vs Joys where we usually go when we are in FL. The service was great. Everyone is so polite and welcoming - not the typical roti shop experience where the employees are miserable and want to spit in your food because you asked them to do their job. Everyone behind the counter was so pleasant, happy and respectful. Almost like they’re grateful that you’re supporting their business. Super rare. The doubles were great, 4.2/5. The curry chicken was missing something. Not sure what it was but it just didn’t hit the spot. The buss up shot was a 12/5 - super soft and fresh. The chowmein wasn’t anything special but overall it was a great experience and I’d recommend trying them out.
