4 months agoLow key spot but the food is delicious & extremely reasonably priced. Service was great too. Left a video of the aftermath because I inhaled the food before I could get a pic. The presentation was beautiful tho.

5 months agoTaberna is a hidden gem in the area when it comes to great authentic Portuguese food! Sunday’s special is the Cozido há Portuguesa! Best I ever had in a Portuguese restaurant. Just like home’s! Also the octopus (polvo) is a must try. Don’t forget if in the area or you live anywhere within 30 miles from it it’s worth the ride! 10 minutes from the Newark international airport!

2 years agoThe food looked great, but I got severe food poisoning from the shrimp shown in the picture. Unfortunately the experience ended up being absolutely terrible after I left.

2 years agoFresh and high quality food. Prompt service and nice, friendly folks running the place. I enjoyed the chicken that I had a lot. Great place, would come anytime.

6 years agoAmazing food. Loved this place. Friendly staff. Great food. The portions are out of control. Don't order more then a 1/2 order if your by yourself.
