I orded the street tacos. It was obvious the meat had been sitting there as it was dry and cold. They were also "out of chips" so I did not even get chips and salsa which is the best part. The tacos had no flavor and the sauce they gave with them was so spicy I couldn't even eat it. I was very disappointed as the location in Punxsy was 5 star worthy. Definitely make the trip to Punxsy if you want to try!
I tried to like it, went multiple times and ordered different things. Seems like everything has been precooked a little too far in advanced, all the meat I had was dry. Everything is overpriced. I will say that their interior decorating is nice, the little pantry shop is a nice touch, and they do have some really bomb homemade hot sauce (I think). I think maybe they just need time to figure out their best method of prep.
The food was “ok” at best. But some of us got pretty sick that night w vomiting. Can’t say if it was the food. But the biggest surprise was the COST. All I ordered was “bowls”. Kind of like what you get at Taco Bell. They weren’t huge or anything. But they were about $16 each. And you have to pay extra for anything not in the bowl that you would like in it like guac, chips, etc. We were so sick after eating there the one and only time, that we just didn’t go back. I wouldn’t have gone back anyway after the shock of my bill.
