2 months agoTraffic to the beach was bad and we were hungry. Turned off and stopped here on a whim. What a find! Service was a tad slow but worth the wait. The food was excellent. Hot, fresh and very authentic with an abundance of menu choices. I had grouper tacos and my spouse enjoyed the Cuban burger. We will be back to try something else.

2 months agoThis was some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. TONS of choices. The amount of fish in the grouper tacos was very generous. The guacamole was- wow. I will concede that the place could be a wee bit cleaner but that food though…

4 months agoSo delicious! I loved it so much. The familiar atmosphere, a really pretty Lady and the fresh prepared food. I cannot understand that ones who prefer other overprised less tasty standard food diner around.

2 years agoWe have been to taco mix 3 times since we recently discovered the place, twice in one week! We loved it that much! I love that this is a multigenerational owned and operated restaurant. The first time we went in, the abuela was sitting in the corner, the mom was running the show and the son was in the kitchen! You do not go for the environment, you go for the owners and the food. Oh the food!!! She has a little bit of everything. We got beef tacos, the fried steak plate (so huge), the tostada, and the Cuban sandwich. The sandwich was the best I’ve ever had, hands down! The tacos are my absolute favorite Tex mex taco in this area now. Every time we go to Bonita beach, we just pray they’re open! Love love love!

7 years agoWow can I say you guys make the best fish sandwiches in the area! I’m really impressed with the quality of food they are making. From flavors to freshness and not to mention prices it’s awesome. I ordered fish sandwich, side of rice and beans plus egg and cheese taco and butter bread my total was $20! honestly if you are on a budget and your ordering for your kids who are picky as hell this place is a win! my kid ate the entire fish sandwich and he LOVED it. I ended up ordering another one for myself. They also have $2 taco Tuesday! Order any taco and pay only $2 for fresh flavorful taco. Their staff is just amazing wonderful people. I think it’s owned and run by a family whatever it is you can tell they are good people making great food! It’s not a fancy place but it’s clean. I highly recommend this place. Go here if you are in the area. P.s yes the wait is long so might be a good idea to order ahead of time. just posted some pics of the menu.
