I can't put this lightly, but this was the best burrito I've ever had in my entire life. I can tell you that when I was 12 years old I have said that I'm going to tour the world and find the best burrito and this is it. And it's not even close. Ygor has a heart of gold and it bleeds into the food. Thank you Ygor, I will hire you for any catering event.
I've driven by here many times but finally got the chance to try it today, and I'm really mad at myself for not doing it sooner. First time so we got a few things; a chorizo breakfast burrito, two tamales (a verde and roja) and the pastor tacos. The burrito was delicious. Eggs, chorizo, black beans...but the best part is that the burrito was griddled with a layer of cheese on the outside to make it crispy and even more delicious. It was also drizzled with a delicious chipotle sauce. Fantastic stuff. Both tamales had very nice and tender masa that wasn't dry, and the fillings tasted very homey and familiar. The pastor tacos might be the best thing here, the meat is seasoned really well and cooked perfectly. Pork can get dry if not cooked right but these tacos were flavorful and succulent. Now that I live down south I've really started to enjoy the robust food truck scene down here, and I have to say that this has gotta be up there for some of the tastiest tacos/truck eats I've had. Ygor is a super sweet guy too, so make sure you say hi and chat if you can! Definitely give it a shot!
The migas is the bomb! The nopal was so yummy. Every time I have it somewhere else it is slimy and salty. Here it is fresh and delicious. Such a rarity. The guys were amazing. They got a little busy, but got orders out fast and would come out to check in and bring out orders. The green salsa is also my favorite. The red is good, but the green is where it's at. We sat outside, the atmosphere is nice. Good amount of local traffic. Definitely can see why it's a good little hidden gem. Also the price! Spent 12 bucks for 3 tacos. Unheard of in Austin these days.
First time here and very impressed! Fantastic pastor burrito. The crispy cheese and avocado really makes it. 10/10 will return.
At the time of writing this, they have a solid 5 ⭐️ with 425 reviews. I’m currently adding another 5 ⭐️ review because this place is amazing! Tacoly Moly is a food truck that sits next to Nomadic, Nomadic is a great place to grab a drink. The area has seating indoor and outdoor, pups are welcome. I walked up to the festive food truck and was greeted by Jose, he was very friendly and attentive to what I was asking for. We ordered breakfast burritos and they did not disappoint! Crunchy outside without an inside that is a party in your mouth! Also, the tres leches was perfect 😋 I decided this will be a regular stop for us. I highly recommend Tocoly Moly!
Okay, Tacoly Moly — where have you been all my life? I came in not knowing what to expect and left fully obsessed. The tacos are the real deal — fresh, flavorful, and packed in a way that actually respects the ingredients. Nothing felt like an afterthought. These are tacos made by people who genuinely give a damn. But let’s talk about the salsa, because it deserves its own paragraph. I don’t know what they’re doing back there, but it hit different. Bold, layered, with just the right kick — I was finding excuses to keep dipping long after the tacos were gone. Easily some of the best salsa I’ve had in Austin, and that’s saying something in this city. Bonus points: they’re attached to one of the coolest bars around. So you can grab incredible tacos AND a great drink without moving more than 10 feet. Honestly, the perfect combo. Whether you’re doing a full night out or just need a quick taco fix, this spot delivers on every level. Tacoly Moly is the move. Full stop.
Tacos and Burritos are fantastic and Ygor is the best! Just devoured the Al Pastor Burrito and forgot to take a photo. Edit: just ate the migas breakfast taco with avocado and grilled jalapenos. Also amazing.
We came to Tacoly Moly on a rainy Wednesday and were absolutely blown away! Ygor is a real sweetheart and brought our food inside the coffee shop so we didn’t have to come into the rain! The queso was lovely, the salsa was so fresh and spicy. We had the chicken and pastor bowls and they were so incredibly flavorful. Everything was seasoned to perfection. Highly highly recommend if you’re on this side of town!
