Sooo disappointed. Paid $20 for 12 tacos. Barely had meat in it, the chicken was not seasoned AT ALL. They gave me possibly 3 slices of key limes for 12 tacos, barely provided onions and cilantro and 3 containers of salsa verde, it has a slight spice but no flavor whatsoever. I added cheese to try to help it taste better and literally drenched it in the bland salsa
So they moved to a new location, it’s not all that but they try to keep it clean lol the service is good you have to remind the girl what exactly you want but she was nice about it, food took longer than I thought but there’s only one cook in the back so it’s understandable. We got a torta (bread can be better) and two Gorditas de chicharrón with beans and rice surprisingly it was delicious definitely coming back again
I ordered the 12 pack of Pollo Tacos for $11.99 through DoorDash. Something I noted during my order was that you could add a churro if you spent over $10. Not sure if this is applicable also at the restaurant, but it was much appreciated. I received a styrofoam container of 12 Pollo tacos and 3 salsa verde containers. On top of that was a separate foil pack of cilantro, onion, and a lime sliced in quarters. I thought that the Pollo Tacos were okay; I had to add the salsa verde and the rest of the toppings for the flavor to be better. What I should have probably done is added grilled onions to see if it would increase the flavor profile. I could have probably also asked for the red salsa too. I do want to point out that if you want decent tacos that this is definitely one of the cheapest I’ve seen. The quantity was also enough for 2-3 meals! The churro was fresh, warm, and had a Dulce de Leche (caramel) filling. Definitely recommend getting one!
Friendly smiling service and great food. I loved the spicy shrimp dish the server recommended and I definitely would go back. But they do need to fix the AC.
Just ordered from here for the 1st time from UberEats & it was amazing! I was craving chilaquiles & theirs was AMAZING! I’m glad I didn’t look at Google before ordering, b/c I’m not sure what the other reviewers had, but the food is very flavorful & fresh. I’ll definitely be ordering from here again! I also got a churro & the filling was really good.
Tacos where good! I got 2 barbacoa on flour, 2 chicharron on homemade corn tortillas & 2 al pastor. Salsa didn't have much heat in my opinion but had good flavor. The tamarindo water was a little watered down.. I also asked for grilled onions & they were crunchy & oily. Not grilled well at all.. I DO NOT recommend eating there. It smelled like dirty mop water & sewage. Kept getting a whiff of it while I was eating. 🤢
Good place to eat some Mexican food, the "Costillas en Salsa Verde" is really good for people don't eat nothing spicy, real homemade tortillas. Try the Jamaica juice. Good customer service, nice people.
When I tell you looks can be deceiving, that’s an UNDERSTATEMENT! The food is absolutely beautiful and looks delicious, but it literally has NO FLAVOR at all. There’s not even an aroma coming off the food. The meat has no marinated or grilled taste; it tastes like it’s boiled in onions, bell peppers and tomatoes with not so much as salt and pepper. I added 5 packets of salt to the meat in my to-go order, included a few slices of the grilled jalapeno and finally the taco became palatable. The beans were almost gross and the rice tastes like it was boiled in the bean water. I love good food and I always share how delicious it is, but this was some of the worst food I’ve attempted to eat. How can you go wrong with meat? Boggles my mind. The restaurant was clean and the staff was nice enough, the food was just not good – at all! I personally will never eat there again.
