Food is fantastic! All the equipment inside was recently upgraded. Seems to be family owned and operated and you can taste the love in the food. Limited outdoor seating but it is all covered. I live close by so I take it to go. Not on Uber Eats, but so worth the trip.
I had high hopes but was disappointed. The tacos Al pastor were pretty decent but everything else was subpar. Tacos are also $4/each which is a bit on the high side. The chicken tacos may have been some of the blandest and driest chicken I’ve ever had on a taco- hardly any flavor and tough to eat. The flautas seemed as if they were fried prior and reheated- they weren’t crunchy and the toppings were pretty light. Again, lacked flavor. The refried beans were really spicy which wasn’t a problem for me, but I specifically mentioned they were for a toddler/nino. Too many great options in Tampa for tacos for me to try again. The staff was really nice and quick when taking my order.
Almost never review places, but this place deserves 5 stars. I go here at least 2x a month and it’s amazing every single time, the staff is very friendly, and the price point is great. Best food truck in S. Tampa. The carne asada burrito is to die for.
