I read a comment from someone complaining that the cook wasn't wearing gloves and kept touching the fan. Under the restaurant's name, it says "street Mexico style"—I lived in Mexico for 25 years and never saw a *taquero* wear gloves! Kudos to "El Compa" for bringing the authentic "Mexican taco" experience to this small town!

We go through Brownwood when traveling to the panhandle and never stopped for breakfast until recently. Wow!!! Food actually had flavor, most places lack even putting a little salt and pepper…. Spicy potatoes were amazing. We found our place to stop from now on.

The green salsa was fresh and tasty. I got a burrito with eggs, potatoes, bacon and cheese. It was delicious!
