based on how busy they were for lunch, i don’t think folks are unaware with how amazing they are but i am here to make sure to say it. wow. these guys are pumping out some amazing tacos. wish i would have ordered five more. they don’t skimp on the ingredients either. must try if you are in the area!
I had really high expectations for Taco Frontera after seeing so many social media videos about it. When we arrived and saw the long line, I got even more excited. But after my fiancée and I took our first bite, we both just looked at each other—completely disappointed. The meat was dry and honestly not that flavorful. We tried four different tacos and a burrito, and everything was just okay. Nothing stood out. For a place that charges about four times more than street tacos, I expected much better quality and flavor. I’ve definitely had better tacos from street carts. The service was speedy and the line did move pretty fast! Unfortunately, I wouldn’t go back.
If you’re reading this review, hear me out.. I’d consider myself a taco connoisseur and these were the BEST tacos I’ve ever had. First time so I decided to dine in. When you walk in you’re hit with the smell of asada and all types of grilled meats. It’s not a very large space but I found a spot at the counter top after ordering Asada, chorizo, and Adobada tacos. The service is friendly and attentive as they greet you with complimentary chicharrones. Everything was fresh and portion sizes are huge for the price. 10/10 no notes.
