See All ReviewsThis was our first time at Tacos Gonzalez, and it completely made our day! My wife and I stopped in on our way to Stagecoach, and the staff was some of the friendliest we’ve ever experienced. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town.
Really cute spot with great service and tasty food. However, at $3 for super small tacos, I’d definitely need to come back and try more before making a final judgment. I ordered a California burrito and an al pastor burrito. I absolutely loved the flavors in the al pastor, it was packed with delicious spices and juicy meat. The California, on the other hand, felt a bit lacking, maybe because the cheese wasn’t melted, which affected the overall flavor. It didn’t help that the week before, I had an incredible California burrito from a hidden gem, so my expectations were high. The service was very friendly, and the ambiance inside was cute and coooold, definitely a nice place to hang out. Just a heads-up, they charge for chips and extra salsa! Meh
20 out of 10, the best Mexican food I ever had in my life. It’s a medium/small restaurant but the food, service and atmosphere ate the best!! I will definitely come back to this restaurant when I’m in California next time.
