We ordered a parrillada for 2 and it was such little amount of meat! Also ordered a chile en nogada and it was so small and barely had any filling.
Excellent food, tlacoyos are the best, and get the mexican plate, cocol is next for coffee, will comeback for sure
Sunday afternoon I was pleasantly surprised by a group calle Ceiba, they played traditional indigenous music, it was great vibes to enjoy conversation your meal and appreciate their art. 20 out of 10, highly recommend
My husband and I finally stopped by to try this restaurant. It has such a lovely atmosphere, the staff are all very kind, and the prices were very fair! The food was fantastic and some of the best I've had. Reminded us of back home in California and the food from Michoacan. Extremely savory, the Jamaica was perfect, and the sauces all had the perfect kick. We're sad it took us so long to try it since we're a military family and set to move later in the year, but this will be our go-to Mexican food spot from now on! We haven't had good Mexican food since being stationed here, but this blows everyone else out of the water and compares to some of our family food back home. Definitely take the time to come out, you won't regret it!
Taco Guadalajara in Socorro, TX is the real deal—authentic, flavorful, and absolutely unforgettable. Every bite tasted like true homemade Mexican cooking, with fresh ingredients and bold, delicious flavors. The tacos were perfectly seasoned, the salsas had just the right amount of heat, and the tortillas tasted fresh off the comal. You can tell this place is all about tradition and quality. If you’re anywhere near Socorro, do yourself a favor and stop here. This is the kind of food that makes you want to come back again and again. So good!
My fiancé and I decided to visit for an early lunch at 11am, and it was our first time here. I have to say, we were seated much quicker than we expected, especially after reading some of the reviews. After a brief moment, our waiter took our order for the shared taco meal for two, with Carne Asada and Tripas. To our surprise, our order was ready in about 10 minutes! When the waiter brought out our sizzling pan, the aroma was incredible, and we could practically hear our stomachs growling in anticipation. The tacos were absolutely fantastic—honestly, they exceeded our expectations. Having moved from Southern California three years ago, we've struggled to find tacos that compare to those in San Diego, but these were hands down some of the best we've had since arriving. The beans and rice were also outstanding, which, for me, is a huge factor in determining the quality of a Mexican eatery. If the rice and beans aren’t on point, I’m skeptical about the rest of the meal, but these were phenomenal! This place is truly a hidden gem and a must-try. If you find yourself waiting, trust me, it's absolutely worth it. One suggestion for the owners: the sign could be more noticeable. It’s a bit hidden behind a tree, and the color doesn’t quite stand out, so making it more eye-catching could draw in even more customers. Overall, we had a great experience, and we’ll definitely be returning!
This restaurant is a hidden gem! The food is absolutely delicious, and the prices are unbeatable. Everything on the menu is fantastic, making it hard to choose just one dish. The quality, portion sizes, and flavors exceeded my expectations. I will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!
Delicious food ran by a hardworking family. Looks like they just started. I love family owned restaurants. We had a parrillada para 4 which included 4 baked potatoes, your choice of meats (we had sirloin and bisteck). Be prepared to wait a little bit definitely worth the wait.
