I've eaten here before and it was amazing but not today. The beef tacos was the worst I've ever had honestly it didn't have any flavor and was wet. I couldn't even finish it. I would not recommend the beef tacos at all, the other ones are good.
Food was awesome. Food made fresh while you wait. Would definitely try again if in the ocala area
Their shrimp tacos are the BEST around! I've tried some of their other menu items, which have been good, but those shrimp tacos are the stuff dreams are made of.
Before anything, I see those negative reviews so I would say come here in person so you can minimize the chance of you receiving a bad order from online takeout. The reason why I'm here writing this review is because I grew up with a really close friend that was Mexican, and his mom made the best tacos in the whole damn world. unfortunately, that friend and I don't keep contact anymore. After sightseeing in this part of Florida I really wanted tacos, I somehow stumbled across this place on google maps and decided to give it a shot. I got the barbacoa and al pastor tacos, service was nice, and the wait was normal because they had to make it from scratch. Getting to the point, when I took my first bite, I was just flooded with memories of that childhood friend, the tortilla just tasted so authentic, and the meat was just perfect. Next time around this area I'm definitely coming back here 10/10 in my books.
The food needs flavor! I love tacos but this places don’t have the best ones. You need salt and pepper, ajo y toda la madre. 😆 The prices are good and the customer service was great. PS: Never seen a taco plate with potatoes salad but at least it have more flavor than anything in the plate. And the burrito taste like canned chicken 🤮
The food was awful… I got a smothered chicken burrito. I’m 99% sure it was canned chicken, pale, tasteless and smelled like tuna. They used cheddar cheese on the burrito… odd. I also ordered chips and queso. The chips were cold and the cheese was a watery nacho cheese…. For $7, like nachos from a highschool football game. I don’t understand how this place has 4.5 stars.
We stopped on our way back to Orlando from Silver Springs. Quick service and huge portions. My friends got massive burritos and I got the taco platter. Totally worth the price. Friendly service too.
The food tastes good. Well seasoned, not salty, fresh ingredients, and good size portions. The only thing I didn't like, but that's my personal choice, was the tortillas. It has the store bought taste and it breaks apart too easily. I would rather have homemade tortillas, but that I usually get only if I go to an authentic Mexican restaurant. I'd still recommend this place, though!
