See All ReviewsWe poped in yesterday for dinner and had an amazing meal and conversation with the owner. They are so warm and friendly and the food was so good! We visit often and will definitely return.
This has been the biggest letdown on the island so far. My family ordered hummus and falafel as an appetizer. Both were extremely plain with little flavor or reason to eat them. Main dishes arrived and were mildly seasoned meat over white rice for the most part (with soggy fries on some as well). Surprisingly, the Greek salad was nice at least. If this was a cheap cafe this may be acceptable, however these entrees cost 20+ dollars. Maybe I have high standards. I lived in the Mediterranean for several years, and while this food was not bad, it was about as unseasoned and plain as I would expect at an elderly care facility. I overheard the front desk person explain they had recently bought the restaurant within the last two months, and I am assuming this is the reason for the discrepancy between the reviews and the food we had.
Felt like I was eating in my Grandmother's kitchen back in NY. The hummus, baba ghanouj, tabbouli, and kaftan were excellent ! The owner, Kim, and her daughters Serena and Naveen, were very inviting and made us feel right at home. Awesome traditional Lebanese meal!!!
