See All ReviewsI got invited to a business lunch today with some of my Vietnamese associates, and they brought me to Tai Ke Shabu Shabu, a Taiwanese hot pot spot that absolutely delivers. From the jump, they ordered a serious spread — rich clam soup, premium beef, rice… and then more beef (because why stop?). Everything hit the table looking dialed in, fresh, and full of flavor. One bite in and you already know: this place doesn’t mess around. What really took it over the top was meeting the owner, Calvin. The guy genuinely cares — about his customers, his food, and the overall experience. You can feel that passion in the room and taste it in every dish. This is the kind of spot where the food is fire, the service is real, and the vibe keeps you coming back. Do yourself a favor: stop in, grab some shabu shabu, and say hi to Calvin. Straight-up Flavortown approved.
Chinese Food from the Taiwanese perspective. Comfortable restaurant. Very good service, but English as a second language. So not your typical Chinese Food. The bun with pork belly was excellent. Definitely belongs on your list as an alternative when you want something different. I’ll be back.
Food: The taste is excellent, the serving speed is very fast, and the portion is also large. The price is not too expensive, and the taste is worth the price. Service: The owner saw that we ordered steak and even helped us get the chili sauce that the locals usually share together. The service was superb. Indoor environment: A little bit crowded Overall, it was a very good dining experience.
