2 months agoThe dinners come with a small drink. It seems like you don't want to offer it because they always forget to ask about it. Again, please stop being STINGY, we paid for it. Also the short heavy lady told the other lady that I didn't have drinks, when diners come with a drink.

3 months agoHave eaten here 5 times in the last 2 months today was the last. First 3 times food was really good the Sopes are ENORMOUS. today! Horrible. The steak tastes old not fresh tamales horrible taste like they have been sitting in fridge for multiple days today was awful. Won’t order again!

3 months agoTamales are not good, they are very dried. Lady on the counter can be a little more friendly. Lady on the counter uses gloves to serve the tamales but never takes them off to handle cash. No point of using "Protection" to handle food. They need food sanitation classes for sure!!

4 months ago12/13/25 CAME IN AROUND THE 11:00AM - 12:00 PM HOUR. I WAS THE ONLY CUSTOMER MY FIRST TIME COMING HERE. I ORDERED THE CHICKEN AND GREEN SAUCE TAMALES. THE PLACE IS EXTREMELY SMALL BUT ON THIS DAY WAS VERY CLEAN. SOMEONE HAD THEIR DAUGHTERS WAIT ON ME. SO THE SERVICE WAS DECENT YET FAST. THE TAMALES ON THE OTHER HAND WERE STILL HOT WHEN I GOT HOME AND WERE FANTASTIC!!! THERE WAS PLENTY OF MEAT. PLUS IT WAS ALL WHITE MEAT CHICKEN. USUALLY WHEN I BUY CHICKEN TAMALES WITH GREEN SAUCE IT IS A MIXTURE OF BOTH DARK/WHITE MEAT. THIS WAS ALL WHITE MEAN MY FAVORITE AND YES WHITE MEAT ESPECIALLY THE BREASTS IS VERY DRY. MY FAVORITE AGAIN BECAUSE THIGH MEAT ( DARK CHICKEN) IS VERY GREASY. SO THIS HAD MOSTLY BREASTS MEAT AND IT WAS DELICIOUS. THE GREEN SAUCE HAS A MILD SPICY TASTES BUT WAS VERY FLAVORFUL. AGAIN THE PLACE IS HIDDEN EASY TO MISS IF U ARE NOT PAYING ATTENTION. IT IS ALSO VERY SMALL LOCATION TO THE POINT TOO MANY PEOPLE WILL MAKE THE JOINT FEEL TIGHT AND SMOTHERING. THE TAMALES WERE DELICIOUS AND I WILL BE COMING BACK 🤔??? TO PURCHASE SIX TAMALES CHICKEN AND GREEN SAUCE WERE $11.03.

2 years agoI got the pastor taco, spicy chicken torta and horchata. Everything tasted fine especially for being late night. I gave it 4 stars because there was no guacamole in my torta or pineapple in my pastor taco and my horchata could’ve used some more cinnamon

4 years agoThe good: open 24 hours, polite employees, reasonably priced. It’s great after-hours food. The bad: You are paying for tamales that are overwhelming masa. The photo below is of two tamales de rajas con queso. Rajas is plural, yet there is only ONE slice of a pepper per tamal. They are reasonably priced for this reason. A well filled tamal will cost you. (And that’s okay as long as you know what you’re paying for).

Edited 7 months agoGreat food the champurrado arroz con leche and horchata is amazing. Open late night always clutch. Edit: I went from 5 star to 3 star because today the size of the tamale is so skimpy it was not cool at all who makes tamales this size. Do better food is good regardless Edit: Nov 1 2023 bought tamales, got home n found a roach in the bag. officially done with the establishment unfortunately quality went down the drain ever since covid Edit3. 9/24/25 I seen manolos open again and went back and I don't know if the under new management but the food was so freaking good and the tamales vastly improved. Especially for 24 hours slot this places earned back its respect.

5 years agoI've definitely had better . The food was very bland but not terrible(maybe cuz I was hungry). The burrito was really big and the potions were good for the price . The tamales however were really skinny and small . The tacos were 3.00 each , the tamales were 1.33 each , the burrito was 8 or 9 dollars ( I think, I did not get to see the recipt)I tell it as it is and I know I've definitely had better tacos at taconazo!
