I had a great experience at Taqueria Tamarindos. The ladies working there are really nice, sweet, and patient, which made the whole visit even better. The menu has so many good options, and everything I tried was amazing. The food was excellent, fresh, and full of flavor. I’ll definitely be coming back again!
I’ve been coming here multiple times, and it’s hands down the best spot for antojitos and authentic food! It can get busy, but that’s just a sign of how good it is. I love this place and will always keep coming back it never disappoints!
Fresh, delicious, AUTHENTIC!! I grew up in El Paso... there's tex-mex everywhere, advertised as "Mexican"... you can TASTE the "home cooked" in the meals at Tamarindos. Here, I have a tostada with shredded chicken- they also have chicken tinga, and let me tell you, that's ALLLLL the yum. I like their red hot sauce- it has that delicious smokey flavor I enjoy. If salsa verde is your thing, theirs has a really good kick. And, right now since it's all cold and whatnot, they have champurrado- a thick, warm breakfast beverage. They have SEVERAL aguas frescas, tons of fresh fruit, and a decent selection on their menu. One of these days, I'll be getting me a serving of cueritos.... mmmm
This area is one of my favorite Mexican restaurants to go. Foods taste good. The only thing I dont like is smaller parking space. Pretty tight parking area.
I am a traveling worker and I must come here if I am driving through or working in Temple. The food is on another level. The owner is an amazing man. The staff is super friendly. To be honest I got lured in here by the company logo. The character in the logo looks exactly like Mr. Hanky from South Park 😂 which makes me love this place even more!
It’s been a minute since we’ve been here. Seems like the prices went up and quality has gone down. $15 for Carne Asada fries and we were given a rotten Avocado. I would rather have been told you were out of Avocado instead of serving this on a to go order knowing we wouldn’t see until we were already home.
Honestly, I never do any reviews from my hometown but Tamarindos never does me wrong. EVER. I ordered the pozole to go today and that soup was warm, they’re generous with their portions and add alot of meat and maíz inside the soup. Always with the fresh ingredients and it came with 3 tostadas on the side. I just want to publicly say they’re the best of the best in Temple and their prices are fair.
Very tasty food! Polite and professional staff.
