7 years agoFabulous food. Pasta is made fresh and is the best. The beet salad, clams, gnocchi, salmon and chicken sandwich were all wonderful. The chocolate bourbon ice cream was amazing. The service was excellent. We will go back often!!

8 years agoHigh end classic Italian restaurant with a farm to table twist. They have a reputation for exquisite food and service, but our recent experience was that both have gone downhill. Drinks were good, after having to ask for them several times and sending back the wrong ones. Food was as ordered, although the wrong dishes were originally brought. They have recently introduced a new, smaller menu so many old favorites are gone. Still fine dining, just not as fine as it was.

8 years agoOverall, Tannin was very disappointing experience. The food was good, but the wait staff was extremely inattentive. We had to wait over thirty minutes to receive our drinks, and close to 45 minutes just to have our order taken. We were sat in the back corner of the restaurant, in which there was no air conditioning, and watched three tables that were seated after us be served without any problems. I'm unsure if bad service is a usual problem here or if we just got unlucky. However, we were there trying to celebrate a special occasion and it was beyond frustrating to be blatantly ignored by our server while we were trying to pay for a nice meal.

8 years agoThis place is a hidden gem! We had a delightful brunch on the patio with awesome twists on traditional favorites....eggs benedict with crab cake.....capresse salad with grapefruit.....blueberry pancakes with lemon ricotta creme. And, the service was impeccable!

Edited 7 years agoInteresting menu. Food prepared well. Nice presentation. I am updating my review of a year ago. Three stars down from four. I have not changed my opinion about the menu or the food, however that last time we visited the server was confused. l expect reasonably efficient service when we visit a restaurant with friends to share a unhurried meal and wine. It was awkward and uncomfotable for the three of us who received our meals while we waited for the fourth to receive what she ordered in place of what was served.

11 years agoThe food here is so, so good, and the atmosphere and interior decoration is incredible and beautiful. There aren't many places in the area to go for a nice dinner, but this one is by far the best, and the prices are incredibly reasonable considering the quality of the service. The food is rather experimental and may sound odd at first, but you just have to try it and I promise you'll be pleasantly surprised. And, it's locally owned and operated, using ingredients from local farmers, and that's always a plus. Highly recommend
