This place is a legit place for breakfast tacos. Drive through and walk up orders only, there is seating outside but it's really for drive through or pick up. Every time we visit our daughter at TAMUCC we get tacos from here.
I've been coming here for the last 4 years. Just about the best taqueria I've found in Corpus. Great service, simple but beautiful food - the barbacoa, and the queso are especially good. The beans are really really good. Super friendly ladies serving. A great restaurant all 'round.
I asked for the 5 tacos plate but wasn’t asked if I wanted maíz or harina. I think I got 5 full-size tacos instead of the mini street tacos. I wanted the mini ones I saw on the menu, so she didn’t clarify. It was about $19 for 5 tacos. INSANE! Also didn’t get enough salsa. I’m about to eat the last two dry.
I’ve been coming here every time I come back in town all the way back to 2011. Breakfast tacos are as close to heaven as it gets. Portion slightly larger than a standard taco, nothing wlike Moody’s size (RIP). Great service, all the standard variations of egg and cheese have been tried, all are fantastic. I drive from the south side and pass prolly 15 places to come here.
I love coming here. Everyone is so nice and I repeatedly visit this place. The food is AMAZING. A must return place. Thank you guys! (They also give my baby dog bacon as a treat!) Pet friendly!
On our way home from 1 week stay on Mustang Island, we decided to grab some Mexican food before heading back to San Antonio. It was surprisingly good! I ordered the carne asada street tacos and fajita chicken quesadilla. Both tasted wonderful. My kids enjoyed the quesadilla. The food were plentiful for the price. We would definitely come back when in town. I called ahead to order and just went to the counter to pick up. It was quick and easy. There are no indoor dining area but they have benches if you want to sit down to eat. We ate in the car and it was totally fine.
Pretty solid food for a good price. Be aware that this restaurant and drive through or to-go only. No inside dining. There are several picnic benches if you want to eat there. But definitely something to be aware of during the summer in Corpus. Side note- I’m not sure who’s Tio made the picnic benches, but the proportions are not right. I felt like a like a little kid trying to eat at the adult table. Very friendly service!
Let me preface this with, I’m on a Corpus Christi foodie group and everyone raves about this place. I’m from fort worth and have really been looking forward to trying this place. I had very high hopes when we went here. Don’t get me wrong, it was good. I’ll go back. But I was really expecting more after all the reviews. Always seems busy when we drive by but the wait wasn’t long.
