9 months agoThe trompo tacos, beans and salsas were delicious. The Rice was a bit dry and not as flavorful as I would have liked. I would give the food a solid 4.4. You all should open your own food truck or restaurant. It would be well worth it.

a year agoWhat can you say about Mexican food from a gas station? Not all Mexican food from a gas station is the same. This place was convenient because of where I was working that day. This is not my part of town but I'd have to say this place was excellent. I had the 3 taco plate (1 trompo and 2 fajita, 2024 rice and beans). The trimming of the raw onion and cilantro mix was fresh and it also came with sautéed onions and a toasty grilled serano pepper. Food was a grand slam hit. The rice was amazing for looking so bland. Sometimes less is more. The meats were also awesome and served with a double corn tortilla. Definitely will comeback when I'm in the area and will 100% recommend this place. Great job Taqueria Charlys!

a year agoBest trompo tacos north of the border. The Torta Chilanga is amazing. Haven't had a bad order here in maybe 20 visits if not more. Staff is super friendly. Don't let that gas station location throw you off. (Atmosphere isn't relevant here) It's to go only.

2 years agoRun to try these tacos, they're literally the best tacos on this side of 75. Didn't skimp on portions and the workers were polite and super fast even though they had a million orders ahead of us . Can't wait to try everything,the trompo tacos were amazing.

3 years agoStopped for a beverage and the convenience of a quick bite. Was impressed at how clean the griddle was, the cook take pride in his art, and keeps his work space in fantastic condition. Decided to go with a cheese burger and a Gordita de pastor. The burger was a classic old-school single with cheese, although they did give me the option to add bacon. Flavor was good and the fried were nice and crispy with plenty of fluff inside. The gordita was very tasty.

3 years agoSmall quick eats location, this is now at the top of my gas station taco spots! Quick and so good the meat has great flavor and the customer service was great! Will definitely return for the breakfast tacos !
