Food was ok. Name is very misleading Danny's "Tex-Mex"? This is not "Tex-mex" food. Danny's Tex-Mex is just another Taquaria, with taquaria style food. So if you want taquaria type food, by all means go here. If you want "Tex-Mex" type food, go somewhere else.
I don't give 5 stars lightly. Every meat we had for tacos was seasoned very well and the homemade tortillas - by request - were good too. Loved the carnitas. Their red pepper salsa was perfect spice - not too much or not enough. Their queso is legit. Service was extremely welcoming but not over bearing. The restaurant is very typical mom and pop. Also loved their grilled shrimp quesadilla and appreciated that the horchata was NOT grainy. Will visit again when in the area.
Authentic Mexican cuisine experience with pleasant staff and fantastic environment. I felt very welcome. Will come again.
