The place is in a gas station. We ordered the burrito, it has "steak" rice, beans and onion and cilantro. The burrito was $8, the size was okay, but the inside of the burrito had more rice then anything, beans was ok but the beef was very little. Was kinda compared to a taco bell burrito, has very litte meat. Also the meat was the last serving they had in thier hot container, because she emptied it out. The cilantro was not even chopped right we had a few whole pieces inside the burrito (with 2 leave with stem). We couldnt give this place a high rating because of our purchase. Maybe not for us, or it was probably a bad day for them but thats the service we got.
Food was so excellent at breakfast I went back for dinner. TORTAS!! HANDS DOWN!! I git the ckn. Small little hot fresh crispy goodness. Grab a drink from the gas station and slum it outside on the picnicking tables....good Ole fashioned humble fun!! My gf got a 3 pack of tacos and LOVED the torta she snagged from me!! Friendly staff....I cant tell which sauce is better here red or green ---> both are FIRE FIRE FIRE HOT!!! Can't wait to go back later today!! Happen to have meetings in the area and found the place through good Ole fashioned LUCK!!
Located inside Speedy K Mart at the gas station. Got a breakfast burrito with the red sauce and it was delicious: chorizo, egg, onion, beans and cilantro. The tortilla was warm too. Total $8.82 for cash. Service was friendly and it was ready quickly.
They charge you more than the listed price. I ordered quesadilla is $8.25 before tax, after I get receipt try to argue they charged higher price, she said it’s tax,I told her tax is at second line, she said that’s extra fee for credit card? Not honest
QUESEDILLAS VERY GOOD BARBACOA IS A 10/10. I come here almost everyday on my bike just to enjoy this so good food
I've lived in Mexico City, Southern California, and now Houston (I've livedother places but they didn't have good Mexican food so they're not relevant in this review.) To this day, these tacos are the best tacos I have ever had. I dream about these tacos and their salsa verde. There were times in high school when I ordeded these tacos and ate them before school. I first tried them 12 years ago and I still love them. If I could have the recipe I would be the happiest person alive. The best thing to get here are the bistec (beef) tacos. The meat has so much flavor. I have NEVER had taco meat with this much flavor in it. I do have to complain about how much salsa and limes they give me. I love salsa and it may be a lot but I put one verde and a little bit of roja on each taco I have and they're a bit rude when I ask for more salsa. The also skimp on the limes and should give more. Years ago I asked if I could buy their salsa, but they never let me...
Been to most of the street taco places in Dallas. This place stays right at the top of my list. It’s often the first place we stop when folks fly in, they demand it. Great tamales too. Came out on top after a day long street taco tour of dallas with extended family. The point, may not be the number one but it’s worth a stop every time you are near by.
Best Tacos I had in years, hands down!!!
