We ordered bistek lonches which included frijoles a la chara. We ordered them to go. The place was clean with natural sunlight. It’s 102 outside but very comfortable inside. Our food was ready in about 8 minutes. The lonches were still warm when we got home. They included all of the fixings. The grilled onions and lime made it complete. The frijoles were just what I expected for the RGV. (Houston resident) The lonches reminded me of the lonches in progreso.
Food is made fresh and flavorful. Service is fast and respectful. The times we have dined in it's very clean. Love the tostadas and torta de trompo.
We alaways get the orders with 5 combos. Very well served. The tacos are not greasy at all like other places. The potatoes are very well cooked they are so soft when we are stirring them. We get a good amount of salsa, when we take out. The service is really good. They are good at remembering who the customers are. The taco pirate is big and loaded with cheese and meat. Would recommend 👌.
