I ordered take out I got two orders mixtos tripa and bistec And 1 order natural of bistec I also ordered an espada de trompo And a taco de quesabirria To try out their other options And two aguas frescas Meat - the bistec was bland, the tripa is good and the birria is good (not better than tacos Pepe, but still good) Tortillas - the tortillas tasted store bought, quality was not there, but that’s understandable Beans - the beans smelled like they had been reheated from a few days before, they were also cold when I got them Salsa - the green salsa tastes exactly like the Delia’s tamales one, the red salsa tastes exactly like taqueria la herradura’s. The salsas did not stand out one bit very disappointing Drinks- the cucumber lemonade tasted like bolis juice concentrate, the regular lemonade tasted better. All in all this place was disappointing, from the salsas, the bistec, to the beans, hell even the lemonades, not coming here again
We visited El Sancho Taqueria and ordered tacos de tripa, a Mexican burger, lunches, a sincronizada, combo de bistec, and baked potatoes. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing from start to finish. The baked potatoes arrived completely cold — and this was only about 30 minutes after opening. The manager admitted they forgot to turn on the “baño María” that keeps the food warm. Even after sending them back, the second batch came out only lukewarm. The corn tortillas and lonche bread were hard, greasy, and soaked in oil, almost like the oil wasn’t hot enough when the food was cooked. Nobody at our table was able to finish their food. The tripita was especially disappointing — it looked more like casing than properly cooked tripa. Also, not to be confused with El Sancho BBQ — that place has delicious food. Completely different experience.
This place has great food and atmosphere. Jiselle took care of me and my family! I love their aguas Frescas. Definitely worth trying plus they are open late!
