I used to come here everyday for food when Marco was here because not only was the food amazing but his customer service was on point and he prepared the food in a clean way. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. The new cook is disgustingly, literally disgusting. The last few times I have gone she has used her gloves to clean, touch her cell phone, put dirty dishes in the sink and handle dirt rags. When my order was placed, shockingly, she didn’t change her gloves before beginning to prepare my food. The first few times I asked her to change them and she proceeded to get an attitude and refuse. Needless to say, I cancelled my orders. Today, I decided to give it another try. And of course, the same thing. But today, I asked the nice young man to please ask her to change her gloves to which she again got an attitude and changed only one glove. lol. While I was talking to the young man about it she decided to address me directly and said “if I’m talking about her, I can talk to her”. Well to be honest I had no idea she spoke English because the other times when I asked her to change her gloves, she acted like she didn’t understand what I was saying. Here’s the thing, she was standing there with one dirty glove still on, touching all of the food and then had the audacity to talk to me as a paying customer, as if I was wrong! I said you need to change your gloves. She did she did. I said no, you only changed one. She said well I have to take one off to Change the other. I tried explaining that the now clean glove will be used to remove the dirty glove essentially making it dirty too but she was too set on being right and arguing with a customer that I just asked for a refund. Now I excused myself From the very pointless conversation with a clearly dirty person and went to The register for my refund and do you know she followed me up there to argue more! Absolutely horrible! I literally had to tell Her that if she did not get out of my face the police would be removing me off of her! That is ridiculous. I loved this place. The young men who Work there are so respectful and kind, before her… the food was good but now, absolutely not. They will lose a lot of customers with her being there and to be honest I am tempted to call the board of health because that is going to make someone sick for sure! Do better! Just gross!

My experience was just awful but the two young men at the front counter was very apologetic and respectful 😞 that I had to return to the restaurant 3 times because our simple order was lacking 🤬 My daughter ordered a green enchilada plate instead she received a plate with crumble chips with green sauce and onions on it AND We returned to the restaurant . Chef Sandra L told the two young men that she ran out of enchiladas. Our SECOND visit was when we realized that the Rice and beans were not added to the meal And our THIRD visit same night when I realized that my nachos only had cheese and meat ONLY no tomatoes, jalapenos or onions REALLY!!!! My daughter and I have always enjoyed the food at The Taqueria but tonight changed everything, I won't be returning any time soon😡

I came to this restaurant when I was student here, when they first opened & they always served the food right and always gave excellent service but tonight it felt like their service wasn't there tonight, they have a new chef "Sandra L" She messed up my order 3 times, 1st time I didn't even make it out of parking lot before I checked it and I order green enchiladas plate & she served me chips with green sauce on top with onions & then I came back and instead maybe mentioning they ran out of enchiladas she served me that & then I was able to get different order Birra Taco Plate, I ordered that plate multiple times before and she didn't add beans and rice just 3 tacos slightly cold and extra side of tacos, they also messed up on my mom's order Nachos and usually the Nachos bigger plate and there's more stuff to it, she gave a small thing nachos with barely anything to it. We did come back and the person who took our orders was very nice and helped us get it fixed but I think it will be awhile until I come back until they get new chef because she had no idea what she was doing and to come back 3 times to get theses orders fixed🫤
