Big disappointment! I was craving an authentic fresh torta for Valentine’s Day. The bread and meat was super hard! Size super small. I could have made this at home. Not authentic Mexican food.
I found Taqueria Los Paisanos #1 in a search while looking for a local, Joliet Mexican Restaurant to support for a large order of tacos. They were so delicious, I wanted to have them cater my daughter's birthday party (24 guests). Location #2 (also in Joliet) does the catering, so my husband called and worked with Angie. We had a taco bar with fresh corn & flour tortillas, tortilla chips, and guacamole, trays of amazing birria beef and chicken, a large tray of toppings and tubs of salsa - so much food for a small price. We were able to give guests leftovers and had enough for my family to enjoy again. Looking forward to going back and trying different things!
They have a great asada burrito. They don't overdo it on beans, a good amount of steak too. And prices were good, place was clean and smelled good. I will make sure to hit this spot up Everytime I'm in town visiting family.
