Recently had lunch at Taqueria Viki. I’m not from the area so was just looking for something to grab on our way through town. Google maps showed it was open at 10:30 AM so we assumed they might have breakfast. Turned out they did not when we came in. staff were breaking down boxes and no one was inside the restaurant eating. We sat down and our server was friendly enough, but could tell she was aggravated that we were there. The restaurant itself was pretty small but clean you could tell it used to be a gas station converted into a restaurant. I ordered the sopes with carne asada and unfortunately did not have a lot of flavor for me. I tasted my sisters birria tacos and they also lacked flavor. I did feel like you got a good amount of food for what you paid for. Just wish it had more flavor.
I will tell you this one time at a real authentic Mexican restaurant do not. I repeat do not eat a whole jalapeno and one bite!!!!! It's been 2 days and my tongue is still on fire
