Crispy light batter, served hot. I only ordered vegetables this time like pumpkin, Japanese potato, Shisito pepper, mushroom. Would highly recommend.
A well-known tempura restaurant from Japan. The flavors are authentic and well-balanced, and places like this are quite rare to find here. It’s the kind of tempura you’d normally have to travel to Japan to experience.
More people absolutely need to pay Carlos a visit. Immaculate tempura and generally have your order ready quick and fresh. I got the Edomar Tempura plate and loved it. I especially love how when you get the plate they include the grated daikon in your tentsuyu! The only place in the US I've seen even include it. Absolutely try it out if you haven't yet. I highly recommend any combo that includes a shishito pepper with it!
