4 weeks agoWe dined here while on vacation at Rio Mar based on the reviews alone and so glad we did. We ordered the stuffed Snapper (which was not a menu item) and it was absolutely amazing. Just a warning, the dish was over $50 each. I'm not sure it would have changed my mind because it was enough food for us to eat 2 nights on, but it would have been nice to know upfront. The staff were very friendly and because we were there on Mothers Day, my wife was given a flower, which was very sweet of them. The view is also incredible. Highly recommend.

2 months agoThe octopus mofongo estaba espectacular. Tender, moist, flavorful and filling. The Alcapurrias de jueyes, and the calamari were on point, sabroso, and frankly out of this world. No exaggeration, this is absolutely the best meal I have had probably in a restaurant, in my life. The service staff was courteous, kind, friendly, engaging, and the owner took his time to talk to us him and his wife were kind, familial, friendly, and are running an amazing food-love language business. The pricing was incredible for us. Definitely give it a shot. This place está buenisimo.

3 months agoExtensive menu with Puerto Rican and conventional cuisine. Several meats and seafood to choose from along with some very good sides. We had red snapper with mofungo and ribeye with rice and beans. Both very good. Waitstaff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely be going back.

4 months agoThe whole fried red snapper was cooked to perfection- crispy skin, tender meant, simple salt and pepper flavor but very fresh and delicious. The homy crab soup with rice is lightly flavor, served hot and also very satisfying. It was a popular night and we waited for nearly an hour, it was worth the wait. The atmosphere is casual and family friendly; all the waitresses work together to cover all the tables, very friendly and attentive even in an extremely busy night. You felt well taken care of.

4 months agoThe food was fabulous, the staff all very friendly, beautiful view and though it can be crowded and loud at times, it all adds to an authentic atmosphere of a local restaurant that is doing it right! I highly recommend coming here.

6 months agoThis is a hidden gem! We ended up here after hiking in the El Yunque Rainforest. The service was fantastic and very helpful. The food was delicious and very affordable. But the highlight was the drinks which were phenomenal! Highly Recommend!

7 months agoWonderful place for fresh fish and lobster. Vilma and Victor were amazing hosts. The best mojitos are made by Lionel. Delicious food. Highly recommend.

9 months agoOur second visit to Terraza Montemar Restaurant, last year was our first and next year we hope to return. Perched high above the shoreline, this restaurant is a true gem where fine dining meets breathtaking scenery. the menu is a delightful showcase of fresh, flavorful dishes, each crafted with care beautifully presented. The atmosphere is elegant yet welcoming, making it perfect for a special evening. Best of all, the panoramic beach view from such an elevated vantage point is nothing short of spectacular - especially at sunset. A dining experience that engages all the senses.
