Wonderful fried catfish! Veggies are great too. Very clean! Don't go to Waco to eat when there is wonderful food in Mart!
My whole family went here today thinking we were going to Texan Cafe and getting home cooked country style food. When we get in and seated in the hot restaurant we were given menus for Tejas Cafe. Mostly Mexican food. We stayed cause we like Mexican food. We order our food and the waitress comes back and says there isn't anymore hamburger meat. So then my young niece said she would eat ice cream cause she originally ordered a hamburger. Then she said we are out of ice cream cause the new girl is coming in and I have to train her on how to make it. Ridiculous. It's on the menu prep it early and have it for the day. Unreal. I got Asada nachos with no onions and light beans. After we order two people come in and they are ordering. The waitress told them there was only enough adada meat for two servings. While we are waiting for our food, their food comes out, they eat and leave. Come to find out they knew those people. 15 min after those people leave, we get our food in intervals. 20 mins after the waitress started bringing out food out, the last person in our party got their plate. My nachos were disgusting. It had onions, piled with a lot of beans, and gave me pastor meat. It was extremely dry. Didn't even taste like meat. There was a lot of hard in edible pieces in the meat. I told myself is was cartlidge and stopped eating. Half of our party didn't mind their food. It was awful. We were there almost 2 hours.
