Chopped brisket and pulled pork sandwiches were incredible! Good Texas BBQ! Yummy baked goods here too.
I wanted to mention that l stopped here from Houston because l wanted to try some BBQ. First, we sat down and got a menu, then asked the lady about the buffet. She said " you can get anything on the buffet". We asked for the buffet. I should of looked first. There was no sliced brisket, or baked chicken, or turkey. There was sausage, fried chicken, that l wanted to stay away from, meatloaf looked dry, and some chicken mixed with gravy. Sour graut was aweful. Blackened peas were warm. When l was going to pay at the counter the lady said for the ticket, l never got one. I had to go back and ask for the ticket. She said " was l your waitress" Yes. So she printed a ticket. So to make a long story short, l lost time getting back on the road, food was average for the price. If you want brisket order off the menu.
Well, to be honest, all I stoped there for was to use the bathroom after a 2 hour drive from Houston, but found myself looking a huge selection of clothing men's, and women's. I wasn't looking at the women's, just talking about the selection. 😏 Anyway, by huge I mean over 400 in stock with a sign that said they could get just about anything that you wanted. Real friendly and helpful and had everything mark with pricing.
