a week agoThe food was ok, but for the price they changed it should have been much better. Our server wasn't attentive at all, we saw the people handling out rolls way more often than we saw our server. Maybe she was trying to find another job while we ate, not sure. Not going back.

a month agoWe decided to try this place on a Thursday since it is usually super crowded with a long wait on the weekend. We wanted a good steak for our anniversary. AJ'S service was super attentive! We appreciated how detailed and honest his thorough overview of the menu was. Rolls were delish! Wedge salad was sooo good! Our steaks tasted great and seemed to be good. We both had some fat/connective tissue on ours and it appeared there had been some mechanical tenderizing of our cuts, leading us to believe that the quality was a bit lower than expected for the price we paid. Didn't tell them - just dealt with it. I liked the garnish of fried jalepenos, and the cinnamon rolls at the end of the meal were a great treat. We got them to go to eat for breakfast this AM! We will give them another try.

3 months agoService was slow at first. We were walked through the restaurant and the floor felt slick/greasy. Waiter was very nice.

3 months agoHad supper here on 3.4.2026 and was served by Chris. His service was Exceptional, Outstanding and Spectacular!! The Wedge Salad, Bacon Wrapped Asparagus and Fried Catfish were Delicious! BRAVO and KUDOS to Chris, and I will Definitely eat here again!!

3 months agoGreen Chile Willies better watch out! The Chicken Fried steak was huge and excellent. Wedge Salad was a nice change and the dinner rolls and cinnamon rolls were to die for . Staff was very attentive and the manager brought out fresh rolls and was very friendly. A new #1 in Amarillo for Chicken fried steak. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

3 months agoWent on valentines day and they were super busy. The food was ok. The large ribeye steak was only about ⅜" thick which was kinda odd. It tasted ok. Everyone on the table ordered something different and it was all ok. Service was good for them being that busy. The roll lady couldn't keep enough bread though.

5 months agoAn excellent place for a date, Texas Rose Delivers on the steakhouse offerings. My wife was delighted with her prime rib, and my choice of the KC Strip also yielded very tasty results. The steakhouse easily passes the "A1" test, not a drop was needed to make the steaks more palatable. I normally would knock a star off for the long wait between being seated and asked for beverage orders but as the steakhouse has only recently opened they were understandably swamped. Outside of the initial wait for drinks our service was exceptional. We will definitely be returning and trying more of the food, but for now it exceeds expectations.

5 months agoBurger and salad were crush and excellent! Chicken had good placer, rice was a bit mushy and broccoli undercooked but over all very good. Could have eaten a whole pan of their rolls!
