I was honestly going to give it a 5 stars because the food was amazing. We went on a Sunday and the wait time was a little over 10min maybe less. We loved the food so much that we re-order some of the dishes. The second time around one of the waitress gave us a dirty look (sorta like fat shaming us) for ordering more food. That honestly gave us a really bad taste in our mouth. I do not appreciate people giving us weird looks if we are the ones paying for the food. Rather than that everything tasted great
Do not bother coming to this place!! This lady in the picture is SO RUDE, she didn’t want to give me her name so I decided to take a picture. We came here to have dinner from 40 minutes away and their hours are until 9pm we got here at 8:37 and she said last seating is at 8:30. Ok, so we left. We came to dinner again arrived literally at 8:29 and they sent us back home that they weren’t going to seat us because it was take out only! They are LAZY and want to leave right at 9pm so they don’t seat anyone after a certain time so they don’t have to stay longer. This was so inconvenient for us. We came with out children and a baby and love Thai food but they do not care about their customers. They have terrible customer service and they are even snobbish! Don’t bother coming anytime after 8pm, unless you want to order dine out
A popular local favorite for decades but always stayed consistently good all these years. Great food, decent portions, prices are reasonable. Service is on point and efficient. Expect a wait at dinnertime and especially on weekends. I highly recommend the Sate Beef skewer dinner (S8) with a glass of cold Thai Iced Tea. Parking is adequate but can get crowded on weekends. Worth the effort.
Decided to try this as a new Thai place to go to and it did not disappoint! The food was delicious! We decided to order the chicken fried rice, beef curry and chicken curry as well as the beef satay. We wanted to try the chicken satay but unfortunately they ran out. We were very impressed with the food that was available though. The quantity if the food, AND QUALITY was great! Everything tasted traditional, warm and inviting and we will be coming back. The one thing I feel did not satisfy us entirely was that we did ask for everything we ordered to be extra spicy (seasoning wise) but when we received our food it simply had a lot of green jalapeno peppers added to it (with the rice for instance) which I expected more to be done, but maybe its to make sure food is not wasted or maybe the majority of customers preference. There was also no napkin containers, hot sauce or spice holders at the table to be able to add spice without having to ask for it. We also would recommend adding lime to the dishes because with thai food we always squeeze a lime above to give it an extra boost of flavor. Despite these minimal details, the service was friendly and helpful and we were checked on several times during our dining experience which we appreciated. For the price and the quality and quantity of the food, you cannot go wrong here.
This place has been a family favorite for many years! It's a small spot that just does it right. Service is good, but it's the food you come in for! They're definitely not rude, but the service you get sometimes depends on how busy and who you have. Whenever we dine-in or do take-out, I'm all about that S-1! Not only because it's delicious, but because the portion is perfect for 2 meals, so it's a pleasant meal TWICE. There's something about their sauce and fried rice that hits soooo good. Their Pad See Ew is also super yummy. Prices are very fair and again, you can probably stretch one plate to two, so it works out even better! I love this spot and it'll always be on of my top Thai spots ever
If you’re craving flavorful and authentic Thai dishes, Thai Original BBQ in Cerritos is a must-try. The spare ribs I ordered were absolutely delightful—tender, juicy, and perfectly marinated, with a balance of sweet and savory flavors that had me savoring every bite. I also sampled my friends’ dishes: the Chicken Curry and Garlic Pork. Both were equally impressive. The curry was rich, creamy, and had just the right amount of spice, while the Garlic Pork was packed with bold, garlicky goodness that paired wonderfully with its tender texture. To complete the meal, I tried their Thai Iced Tea with boba, and it was a standout. Sweet, refreshing, and perfectly balanced, it added the ideal touch to an already satisfying meal. The service was friendly, the ambiance cozy, and the dishes undeniably delicious. Whether you’re a Thai food enthusiast or simply exploring, this spot deserves a thumbs up. I’ll definitely be back!
Dined in with my mom and brother. Ordered the crab fried rice, Panaan, chicken bbq meal, crab Rangoon and wontons there all really delicious. Been putting this place off for a while should have came here sooner. This is a really good place to eat. The thai tea is good here to. Would definitely be coming back.
My favorite restaurant of all time. Hands down, their S1 I can eat every single day of my life without getting sick of it. They mastered Thai BBQ chicken with the juicy meat falling right off the bone. The sweet Thai sauce is so flavorful and delicious. The fried rice has so much flavor you can just eat it by itself. Always a great experience at Thai Original BBQ!
