Did a take out from this food truck located near Frontyard Brewery and wow was it good. Great friendly service accompanied by tasty sumptuous food. The thai tea was flavorful and balanced right, not too sweet. I got the Thai hot 🔥🥵 for a couple of dishes, I under estimated the live of heat, should have gone done a level or two. The basil chicken fried rice was wonderful as well as the pork dish I got. Portions were great and amazing to share. Definitely a place to stop by if you are in the vicinity, can sit and dine there or just do a take out.
This is my favorite Thai place ever. My husband and I got an Airbnb in the area (we live a hour and a half east) just so we could have their chicken pad Thai on our birthday. The service is always phenomenal and the food is super consistent. The half eaten pad thai photo is of the medium heat (mine) and the other is Thai hot (husband). Both are incredible as always. We find in Austin that the Thai hot is never hot enough and Thai wat zap delivers the every. Single. Time. Owned by the sweetest couple I am more than happy to give them our business and I highly recommend you do the same. You won’t be disappointed
I’ve been coming here almost every Friday for the past 7 months specifically for the cashew chicken. Every week the dish comes out consistently delicious and as the week before. Don’t skip out on giving this place a try. You won’t be disappointed.
It saddens me to write this review. For the past eight months, I have been a weekly customer, and my family and I genuinely enjoyed the food. Unfortunately, the unprofessionalism I witnessed warrants this unfavorable review. On February 16, around lunchtime, my Son—who has been ordering from here since 2023 (he worked near by)—was craving Pad Thai. He asked if I wanted anything, which I declined, and he placed two orders: Thai Rice with shrimp and basil, and a Chicken Pad Thai, medium heat. The order initially seemed to be misunderstood, so I heard him politely correct the person on the phone several times. She recited the order back, and we believed everything was in order. When he returned home, he discovered he had received two Thai Rice dishes. His girlfriend’s order was correct, but instead of the Chicken Pad Thai, his was Thai Rice with chicken. He called the food truck to resolve the mistake but was immediately met with an unfriendly, accusatory tone. They refused to correct the error. What’s most disappointing is that this did not just cost them one customer—it cost them two families. Between our family of four (4) and his girlfriend’s family of five (5), that represents roughly nine orders per week that will now go elsewhere.
Well I am nothing but disappointed. Ordering over the phone is a mistake. They always mess up your order. The food is phenomenal but the service breaks my heart. Once apon a time the food and prices where so legit. But now that everything cost so much a messed up order makes you mad as all heck. I was clear and in my order and you know what I wont be buying weekly from them anymore. I was a regular costumer but I feel so disappointed and frustrated that instead of putting a hole in my wall with my fist I wrote a review. Of which I never do. All I wanted was the chicken pad thai and I got rice......
Always the best Thai food in the Bee Cave, Briarcliff & Spicewood areas! They moved just a few meters from their original location but still have the most friendly service from Pat & her staff. Pad Thai had a generous amount of sauce & noodles were cooked perfectly.
Fiance and I were craving hot soup and this place hit the spot. Got small servings of both soups with tofu and a red curry with chicken. Absolutely amazing on a cold night and the wait was worth it since it's cooked to order. Ate at one of the nearby tables and we both warmed up. The food truck park was a bit hard to find since we were visiting. Very happy to have found it. Absolute gem of a place.
We ordered beef pad thai (medium) and chicken red curry (medium). The food was delicious and the spice was actually hotter than described on the curry. We can handle our spice but I would get lighter spice next time on the curry. We ate our dinner on the roof of the Guernica Cafe building next door during a Sunday sunset. Would recommend.
