a month agoThis was our first time eating here and weren’t impressed. The mozzarella sticks were good but their ranch dressing was not. My husband got the chicken fried steak and he said it was very sub par. I got a veggie omelette it was supposed to have cheese and I added sausage they said would be 2 sausage patties they charged me 2.59 or so for. I only had 2 bites that had sausage. There was no cheese. I didn’t complain about the omelette but I ordered my hashbrowns very well done with onions, I was brought barely cooked hashbrowns with no onions. They did make new ones for me. It took a long time for our order to come out. I can say their fried okra is top notch! I don’t eat sweets but they gave out free cake which I thought was nice. The staff was nice. Just not somewhere I would choose to eat again. Panther Row in Bonham has a much better breakfast and variety.

a month agoSo I got the double cheeseburger and the fresh cut fries typical normal Cafe Burger it was good the fresh cut fries was really good my wife got one of the breakfast and you could tell the gravy was homemade the breakfast was really good my only complaint I feel like they needed a extra waitress or two because they were really busy and they were working hard but really didn't get checked on but we will definitely be back definitely a good place to eat and don't get me wrong I did like my way cuz she was doing all she could do she was working hard and she was very nice

4 months agoPlease follow us on Facebook at SNDTRAVELS and EATWELLTRAVELOFTEN 2.7.26 Mom and pop in Paris Texas. Stopped in for a late breakfast early lunch about 10:15 on Saturday. Friendly folks who are working fast but understaffed so expect a wait hut now you before you go in so don't get upset. I had the ham and cheese omelet with added onions. Great flavor and enjoyed. Added a side of bacon and while not crispy, it tasted good. Diane had the downtown breakfast with substituted French toast. Everything was good once again. We did have one issue that was resolved with the complete dismissal of our bill. Totally unnecessary to go that far but they insisted. I felt bad because we ate almost everything. I hope no one thinks they can come in here, create a problem and try to get their food free because of my post but I felt it was important to show just how responsive they were to our issue. Overall, recommended two-thumbs up 👍

5 months agoIf you haven’t been to That Place Downtown yet, you’re seriously missing out! ✨ This little breakfast spot has such an amazing vibe, the most welcoming staff, delicious food, and prices that are honestly hard to beat. Everything we tried was fresh, flavorful, and absolutely hit the spot. A huge shoutout to our server Madi — her sweet personality and true servant’s heart made our experience even better. She was so kind, attentive, and genuinely joyful, the kind of person who makes you feel right at home from the moment you sit down. Paris friends — this is one of those hidden gems downtown that deserves way more love. If you’re looking for a great breakfast, incredible service, and a place that feels special, That Place Downtown is it. 🥞☕️

5 months agoWe had a great lunch and breakfast today. The manager/waitress was amazing. Thank for the bread pudding which was so good. Service was fast and food came perfect timing ! And it was so good. We will be back to try other goodies. The special was turkey dressing Mac & cheese green beans & sweet potatoes mashed with a roll and dessert. Thanks again y’all are rocking it. My husband a chef of 50+yrs will write a review also.

6 months agoWhat a wonderful discovery! Service was wonderful. Great, warm atmosphere and the food is delicious. I especially like the French and biscuits and gravy.

Edited 2 months agoVery great prices, fantastic service. We had the biscuit and gravy with hash browns and bacon on top. It was such a good amount of food for a great price.
