My husband and I were wanting something different, was told the Apple basket was a really good place to eat. We were not disappointed. The food and service were excellent. Our waitress was very friendly and on spot. If you want a home cooked meal and reasonably priced, then give the Apple basket a visit. I recommend the hot beef plate it’s definitely the best I’ve had. Will definitely be going back.
This was a truly wonderful experience. The staff were super friendly and the prices were fair. I wish I could have tried everything on the menu because it all sounded so good. I’m not a local, so I was pleasantly surprised to find such a treat in rural Missouri.
I love stopping at places like this when traveling. I can tell you they won't disappoint. The food was great! I had the chicken fried chicken, and the onion ring appetizer is more than worth a try. Wish I would have left room for pie. The service was great and entertaining (small town atmosphere with flair). This place is really great!
