2 months agoI recently purchased kimchi and a variety of side dishes from this place, and I was truly impressed. My kids, who used to dislike kimchi, now absolutely love it and ask for it all the time! The flavors are incredibly well-balanced, fresh, and delicious. You can really tell that they use natural, high-quality ingredients. Every dish tastes clean, not overly salty or artificial, and has that comforting, homemade feel. It honestly feels like eating food that’s both nourishing and made with care. If you're looking for authentic, flavorful, and wholesome Korean side dishes, I highly recommend giving this place a try. It’s not just tasty—it genuinely makes you feel like you're eating healthier!

4 months agoI highly recommend this place! I have lived in Suwanee for 23 years and have ordered catering services at least 7 times a year from various places. Out of all the catering I’ve tried so far, nothing has come close to this. I remember back in 2012, there was a place near Suwanee H Mart that served food with quality that far exceeded my expectations. Sadly, they closed down shortly after—I suspect their quality was simply too high for the price, making it difficult to sustain the business. When I discovered "the Banchan" last year, it immediately reminded me of that amazing taste from 13 years ago. The quality is exceptional and the flavors are unique—not too spicy or overpowering. It truly feels like a warm, home-cooked meal from Mom (엄마 집밥). Specifically, their LA Galbi and Galbi-jjim (braised short ribs) are truly the best of the best. The meat is incredibly tender and the seasoning is perfect. I honestly pray every day that they stay open for a long, long time so I can continue to enjoy their exquisite food. If you are looking for real, high-quality, authentic Korean taste, this is the place!

8 months agoThis is one of the best Korean catering companies that we have used at the office! We've had a lot of hit or misses catering companies in the past. The Korean Thanksgiving food was delicious! We have a multicultural office environment and some of the employees are picky. The picky employees hands down loved it! The owner spoke both Korean and English so it made my order so easy. Mrs. Kim was very sweet and threw in some extra goodies in the order. We will definitely order from The Banchan again for future catered orders. Everyone was hungry so we didn't take any pictures of the bulgogi, jjun, songpyeon rice cakes, chicken ggan jeon (these went fast and there were no leftovers of this chicken), japchae, odeng noodle salad, young radish kimchi, and melons. You can taste the TLC in each dish! Thank you!!!!

8 months agoWe looked at least 10 places for catering for our wedding in February 2025, and this place was by far the best. We ordered a few dishes for about 150 guests, was able to try a few things when we met with the owner in person with just a couple hours notice. She makes everything herself. We booked about 1-2 months in advance, food was prepared and delivered as expected. 100% recommended. Very fair price for the quality of home cooked food. There’s a surprisingly large variety of foods

If you're seeking a home cooked meal, a customized menu for special occasions like weddings, parties or get togethers or looking for delicious, nutritious food, look no further. The Banchan delivers on all of this and more! The owner is super nice, and she will work with you to create the menu of your dreams that meets your pallette! I've tried many of her dishes and you can taste the love in each dish; all family recipes delivered to your home table. I'm thankful I've found her and if you're curious to try something different or add a personalized touch to your meals, please come check her out! The food will definitely exceed your expectations.

a year agoWe used this catering service for my son’s 100th day birthday, and it was fantastic! The food was delicious—everyone loved it. We had bulgogi, fried chicken, chicken katsu, and cod jun, and everything was perfectly prepared. The fried chicken was a huge hit with our guests—it was garlicky with just the right amount of spice! Clara was wonderful to work with, always quick to respond and very sweet. She made the whole process easy, and the food really made the event special. Highly recommend!

2 years agoWe catered food from The Banchan for the first time. I had a pretty good feeling about the food based on Google reviews. My first impression of the owner was so sweet! She explained everything so well and was very easy to work with. She emphasized using good ingredients for all her food. She also mentioned that she tries not to take too many orders so that she can focus on the quality of the food. I think she is right because all our guests loved the Chicken GangJeong, Korean pancakes, Squid spicy salad, and JapChae. The food was just perfect! Everyone loved everything about the menu. Most importantly, the food was ready on time! We didn't have to wait at all. The owner sent a follow-up text the next day. She is such a sweet lady! I would definitely order here again! Thank you so much for the wonderful food!
