I moved to Houston from San Diego about ten years ago, and I always get a craving for the style of Mexican food I grew up with. This place really fulfilled that craving for me today. Shoutout to Anali for taking my order and being very sweet and patient as I looked over the menu and even brought my food to my table. Great job! I got the California burrito, but instead of sour cream I asked for Pico De Gallo. It was super fresh and yummy!! Next time I would ask for double pico, but the tomatillo salsa they have at the salsa bar was really nice with it too. Next, I had the 5 Rolled Tacos. The meat was nice and juicy on the inside with a fresh set of toppings on top. Very well done (best in Houston I’ve found). Last was the shredded beef taco. Again, very very good. Only thing is I wished it was a little bigger, but for $1.99 I’ll just order more next time 🤪 Overall Score: 9.1/10, I will for sure be back!!
I have been looking for a location that can provide a California Burrito and I have found it. I have to say it through me back into the quick stops Burrito places in Oceanside, California. Ok, the Cheese is not the greatest and will not be ordering that any more. It’s like it’s Nico Nacho Cheese that you serve at little kids parties.
I recently visited Burrito Factory for the first time and, unfortunately, had a disappointing experience. The presentation of my food was poor. It appeared as though it had been hastily placed into the container without much care. Additionally, I ordered a burrito combo but had to return because the rice and beans were missing from my order. Upon arriving home, I also found that my fish taco was very cold. While this may have been partially due to the cabbage, the temperature was still not acceptable. I was also not informed by the drive-through representative that the combo does not include a drink, which was unexpected. As a first-time customer, I was hoping for a better experience and wanted to give this new establishment the benefit of the doubt. However, I was highly disappointed and do not plan to return. Based on my pictures below the cheese on the second plate of beans aren’t even melted which shows how cold my food was.
