See All ReviewsI waited a long time for this restaurant to open and really wanted to like it. We’ve ordered three separate times, hoping each experience would be better, but unfortunately the food has been mediocre at best every time. The meat was overly seasoned and overcooked, and overall it felt pricey for what it is. Paid almost $24 for a steak platter. That said, the service has been great every single time, and the staff has always been friendly and welcoming. I appreciate having another Mediterranean option in the area, but based on our experiences so far, the food just hasn’t lived up to the expectations.
This little spot in an unassuming strip mall *really* pleasantly surprised us. We walked in and you can already see they did a good job on the ambiance and decor. When we got our food it was well above and beyond what we expected. I have eaten at a lot of Greek and similar restaurants over my life and it's a favorite - these are probably the best dolmas my husband and I have ever had. We got the chicken and lamb split plate and each comes with a separate sauce, flavored to the meat 🤌💕 as well as some of the best hummus I've ever had. This place is great and we'll definitely be back a lot!
While visiting our place in The Hollows, we wanted to try local, casual fare. We found The Cedar Tree on Yelp and were so happy we did! The food was tasty, fresh and healthy. I had the salad bowl with falafel and they made it to my specifications perfectly. The dips (hummus and baba ganoush) are made from scratch, no canned ingredients, and the pita bread was amazing. We enjoyed talking with Uza who was friendly and accommodating. Great value for the price. We will be back when in town!
