See All ReviewsIf you are expecting a 5 star suit and tie environment that's not this, but if you are looking for a classic family owned restaurant this is your place. Food was tasty and came out relatively quickly.
Every staff member we encountered showed true Southern hospitality. This cute diner highlights the historic charm of Leiper’s Fork, and the team is knowledgeable about the building’s history. The real winner for us was what my daughters call “bickit and gravy.” The scratch-made gravy over a buttery biscuit couldn’t be better. You can see the staff in the back working hard to keep the food fresh and coming out quickly—even when the diner is busy!
I’m officially adding this spot to the top five places I’ve ever reviewed. It’s the definition of comfort food, paired with an incredible atmosphere—the music and overall vibe just make you want to stay awhile. Now, let’s talk about the food. I had the Frito chili pie, and it was absolutely fantastic. For dessert, I tried a slice of peanut butter pie, and it was truly sublime. I highly encourage everyone to check out The Country Boy—you won’t regret it!
