I went out to The Country Vibe for my birthday with a few friends and it was a terrible experience for everyone! An hour wait for food but only 3 tables of people. I ordered the mozzarella sticks and they came out cold so I sent them back and again they were cold. 2 of my friends ordered a meat and potatoes dish and both had cold potatoes with very salty gravy. I sent my haddock French back because it came out cold. I was honestly at that point really nervous about eating there because I figured if they can't bring out anything hot who knows how the food is being kept as far as keeping it above 165°or below 40°. The waitress was also terrible no drink refills, didn't clear our dishes, couldn't remember what anybody had, didn't know the menu, she couldn't figure out how to pass out food at each corner of the table she wanted everything passed through multiple people. Eventually the older waitress who obviously had some experience came over upset and cleared our dishes because the younger one didn't seem to want to do anything except disappear. 2 of us had diarrhea the next day. None of us are willing to come back! You've been warned!
This place was great, its got a nice local dinner vibe. Our waiter was great at keeping the coffee filled. I will be going back when I am in the area again. The food was terrific, even had enough left over to take home with me to enjoy again.
This has been my favorite diner my whole life... not anymore. They closed early at 4pm yesterday and didnt say anything to my husband and I. So we left $45 worth of food on the table and left because we thought we were in the way. And still tipped the waitress $10 even though they dont close til 8pm and no one could be bothered to say "take your time" or offer us a box... Sad really.
