Top Reviews
See All ReviewsWe found this little restaurant on Google Maps. Based on the many positive reviews, we wanted to see for ourselves. And we were not disappointed! From the outside, the restaurant is very inconspicuous, but the food is really delicious! The owner is very friendly and the atmosphere is quite informal. It doesn't really feel like a restaurant, but more like being at a friend's house. It has a rustic/chic interior with lots of little charming details. Unfortunately, we were just passing through, otherwise we would definitely come back!
Saw the reviews, had to try it. So glad I did! Got today’s special, T-bone pork chop, rice, greens and bread. Everything was delicious. Pork chop had a nice char while remaining tender and juicy. Greens were well seasoned and balanced, and the basmati rice tied everything together. Portion size was generous; I ate it all because I’m a big back 😂. The host was exceptionally courteous (no pun intended) and welcoming.
Wow!! This restaurant was an unexpected find on a drive to Dallas. I called asking if they had some gluten free options, which they did. My husband (who eats gluten free) thoroughly enjoyed his rice bowl with pork. We also got a burger, which was phenomenal. My toddler was a huge fan of the beef tallow tots and we ended up getting a 2nd order of them. I decided to try the goat latte and it did not disappoint. Everything was high quality. We will definitely be coming back here on our travels (forget going to Buccees!).
