See All ReviewsWas pleasantly surprised, the food was exceptional. By far the best Italian food in Coral Gables, and I have lived here and go out almost every day for dinner in the gables. The place looks like a very casual restaurant , I was not prepared to have this level of food. Proper pasta with White trifle, not Blau trifle like in most places but white truffle . All dishes where fenomenal, octopus, ceviche, The white truffle pasta, cheese cake and bakalava for desert.both fenomenal. The decoration does not do justice to the food. I HAD A 2 star Michelin restaurant in London , my chef was the head chef at the square.. And this place even though it’s not Michelin level it could be .. The service was lado 10 out of 10. The negative comments I read regarding the service being poor , bathrooms ferry etc .. Al I Can day it must be a competitor in the area who must be worried about the great food at this place . Great find, for me.
We were blown away with everything about this restaurant! The entire staff went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible while dinning there. The food was very unique and every dish had a beautiful presentation with unbelievable flavor. Every single one of us left very satisfied. Highly recommend coming here and we’re all looking forward to going back!
Allow me to setup the dynamic, went here for dinner with two girlfriends and service and food was excellent. Nicklaus never let our wine go empty, our water was always full and the employees were all nice and attentive. I have the Shrimp Soup as an appetizer and it was nice and creamy and the shrimp was perfect and not rubbery, for my main course I had the Cacio y Pepe (my go to anywhere, if it's on the menu) and it was delicious a little different than most it didn't come out in the cheese wheel, but it also didn't have too much pepper like some places make it. My two girlfriend had the Vongole and the other ordered the Gnocchi (she said it was one of the best Gnocchi she had 🤌🏻) lastly for dessert we couldn't get enough so we ordered our favorite 3, the burnt Cheescake (my personal favorite) the Baklava (delicious so different then I've had, something about it tasted a little like lavender) and the Pistachio Gelato (recipe of one of the best Italian Chefs apparently, and it was one for the books) I definitely want to come back here and will be trying before it gets too popular and reservations take 2 hrs lol
